Dear All,
It is my pleasure to welcome you to this MyHPB Congress 2022 from 5th to 7th August 2022. I welcome all the eminent speakers from local and also international to share their knowledge and vast experience with the participants. This is the first congress in the history of our MyHPB Society which is conducted as hybrid and the venue will be at Connexion Conference & Event Centre, Bangsar South City. Apart from that we also organised the pre-congress workshop ‘ laparoscopic animal workshop’ on 4th August at ASSC, Hospital Canselor Tuanku Muhriz, PPUKM, Cheras. The past two years this congress was organised as fully virtual and this year we take a challenge to organise this congress as hybrid. Life must go on and our surgical fraternities also need to be step up from basic to advanced, as our theme this year ‘Expanding Horizons and exploring new frontiers’. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our organising committee for their great effort and sacrifices in organising the MyHPB Congress 2022. The Organising Committee has kept all of this in mind when drawing up the scientific Programme. There are separate tracks focusing on surgeons either general surgeons or HPB surgeon as well as our allied health professionals.
Once again, I would like to extend the warmest welcome to both our local and international speakers and participants.
