Prof. Dato’ Dr. Fuad Ismail

Prof. Dato’ Dr. Fuad Ismail graduated from UKM in 1990. He trained in clinical oncology in Beatson Oncology Centre, Glasgow, Scotland obtaining the Fellowship (FRCR) from the Royal College of Radiologists and the Fellow of Faculty of Radiologist and Radiotherapists from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 1996. He has been a lecturer in UKM since 1996 and Head of Department since 1999. He was a founding member of the local Master of Clinical Oncology program in Universiti Malaya and has helped with several local practice guidelines. He has special interest in evidence based medicine and was the immediate past-Chairman of the Research & Ethics committee in Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia.
