Mr. Haji Kusai Haji Alias
Mr Kusai Bin Alias, or known as Hj Kusai, has been in Endoscopy services for 38 years since 1997. He obtained his Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He was posted to General Surgery Depar tment, UKM from 1982 to June 1997.
His interest and passion in the Endoscopy field has paved the way for him to be promoted as the UKM Endoscopy Manager from July 1997 to 2020; back then, there were not any trained nurses or assistant medical officers available to lead the endoscopy unit. He was actively involved in numerous research activities in UKM, working alongside with both medical and surgical specialists. With his extensive experience in the Endoscopy field, he was invited as a speaker for events organised by MOH, private hospitals and military hospital. In addition, he also had the oppor tunity to be trained in handling endoscope breakdown in Tokyo, Japan in 1998.
As a MSGNMA committee member, he has been involved in training programmes which open up more learning oppor tunities for GIA in Malaysia. He had led the Society as President from 2007 to 2008. He is currently attached with Vitramed Asia as senior regional manager.
