A/Prof Marcos Perini, MD, MSc, PhD, FRACS The University of Melbourne; Department of Surgery, Austin Health I am a surgeon-scientist currently appointed as an Associate Professor in the Department of Surgery – University of Melbourne with an international profile in HepatoPancreatoBiliary surgery and Liver Transplantation. I have published more than 90 international papers, 25 book chapters and I had worked as convenor/co-organizer of international and national conferences. Currently my major focus is the biology of liver metastases, liver transplantation and clinical trials to determine the outcomes after HPB surgery and liver transplant. Apart from my clinical role as an HPB and Liver Transplant consultant surgeon, I am involved in mentoring young surgeons and I am currently the Supervisor for the HPB and Liver Transplant Fellowship program at Austin Hospital – Melbourne - Australia.
